I worked with the students at Cedar High School who are members of the band. Specifically, I organized and taught an ensemble of French horn players. Within this ensemble, I worked individually with students to help them learn proper techniques of playing the French horn, including tone quality, intonation, breathing, and aural skills. I also worked with these individuals and small ensembles to prepare pieces of music to perform at the High School Solo & Ensemble Festival, Spring of 2019. According to students’ choices, I helped them prepare and perform either a solo or a duet with another student.
